• How do I book?

Booking your Stansted Airport Transfer with Aero Direct is easy:

  1. Place a booking on our website or contact us by phone
  2. We will send you an email outlining the booking details you have provided just to check everything is correct- PLEASE NOTE- THIS FIRST EMAIL IS NOT A BOOKING CONFIRMATION
  3. We check driver availability 
  4. Once a driver is assigned, we confirm the booking with a second email.

In the unlikely event that there are no drivers available we will decline the booking in the second email.

We aim to get back to you with a confirmation email (or decline in the unlikely event that we are unable to help) within one hour.

• When do I pay?

Payments are usually made to the driver when travelling. Should you wish to pay when making the booking you can do so, at no extra cost, by choosing the "Pay Online" option you will be presented with after filling the online booking form.

• How can I pay?

Most passengers choose to pay our drivers by cash. Our drivers are able to accept card payments as well (major cards only). Online payments are also available through PayPal.

• Are your prices per car or per person?

All our prices are for the hire of the vehicle, not per person.

• Will you charge me for my luggage?

We do not charge extra for luggage but if you are expecting to take an excessive amount of luggage with you please notify us in advance to avoid any issues on the day of travel.

• What happens if I cancel my trip?

We do not charge a cancellation fee, however we ask that you notify us of any changes to travel plans as soon as possible.

• What is the extra charge for the Meet & Greet service?

For the Meet & Greet service we charge an additional £8 to cover parking costs and waiting time. This is automatically factored in the amount quoted if you have selected this option.

• How will I recognise my driver if I use the Meet and Greet service?

Meet and Greet is a premium service where our driver will wait for you with a clear name card, so you should be able to find us easily. Please do keep your mobile phone to hand in case of any last minute issues.

• What happens if my flight is delayed?

We will keep an eye on flight times and updates from the airport and adjust your pick up time accordingly. We ask that you are contactable via mobile phone where possible for clear, easy communication of any changes.

• What type of cars are in your fleet?

We use hatchback cars for their comfort and reliability. At the moment we do not offer large people carriers or limousines but do keep an eye on the website for any changes.

• Do you have services to and from any other airports?

Our primary services are for London Stansted Airport transfers, but we do service all major airports. If the online booking system allows the booking, then we can service it.

• What are your hours of operation?

For transfers we are available 24/7. The dispatch office hours vary.

• Can you help me with my luggage?

Our drivers will be more than happy to assist you with loading your luggage into the car. If you choose our Meet and Greet service we will collect your luggage for you and load it into the vehicle.

• I have a special request- can you help?

We are always happy to make adjustments where possible- if you have any specific requests regarding mobility or accessories such as child/baby seats, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to help.

• Are your drivers insured?

Yes, all our drivers are fully insured and licensed.

• What is your smoking policy?

We have a strict no smoking policy in all our vehicles.
